This race has 5 events for runners and walkers: a marathon, half-marathon, 10K, 5K and 2K (for kids). In these runs, you will find a scenic, traffic free course featuring apple blossoms, snow-capped mountains and the Columbia River. (Due to course restrictions, no wheelchairs will be permitted.) The marathon and 10k are certified.

All races start on Wenatchee Avenue, winner of the 2003 Main Street America Award, near Centennial Park (next to Key Bank?102 South Wenatchee Avenue), and proceed north on Wenatchee Avenue then east (right turn) on Fifth Street to the Apple Capital Loop Trail. From that point, ALL RACES run exclusively on the scenic and traffic-free Apple Capital Loop Trail which is a 10 mile loop along the Columbia River.

The suface is entirely asphault--no dirt or gravel. The course is rolling with the lowest elevation at about 560 ft. and the highest at about 620 ft.

All marathon finishers will receive medals. The participants of all events will receive custom designed shirts commemorating their accomplishment.
Note: Entries received after April 11, 2006 are not guaranteed t-shirt and/or correct size.

Age-group awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age-groups from Under 20 to 70+.
