Mt. Tamalpais is a treasure trove of pristine trails. We've put together the best singletrack the mountain has to offer for some of the most beautiful mileage you'll ever run. At least we think so. Sign up, and see if you agree! Limited to 300 entrants. Pre-registration highly recommended!

DESCRIPTION | Marathon, 25K & 7 Mile
Waiting at the Stinson Beach start line will be the only time you spend at sea level during this trail run. From the word "Go" you'll be heading, up, up and away into the thick wooded trails of Muir Woods. You'll follow the legendary Dipsea trail to Steep Ravine, where you'll climb a wooden ladder, march up natural rock and wooden staircases and scramble under tree trunks.

Along the way, enjoy the sounds of babbling brooks and waterfalls and drink in the fresh smell of the towering redwoods and oaks that surround you. Your summit will be rewarded with panoramic vistas as you begin your descent back into Stinson Beach.

From Hwy 101 in Marin County (North of the Golden Gate Bridge):
Take the Hwy. 1/Stinson Beach exit and follow Hwy. 1 for 11 miles to Stinson Beach. It's a winding section of road; allow 40 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge.
In downtown Stinson Beach, turn left into Stinson Beach Park.
Raceday Check-In and start/finish located in the picnic area.
