JOIN US IN THE MARIN HEADLANDS!
As you view San Francisco tucked behind the rolling green hills of the Marin Headlands, you'll liken the image to Dorothy encountering the Emerald City. One thing's certain: the views this course offers are unlike any other!

DESCRIPTION |
Marathon, Half Marathon & 7 Mile

This is a gem of an event! You'll start and finish at Rodeo Beach, Fort Cronkite, in GGNRA (west of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County). Along this scenic trail run through the Marin Headlands you'll soak in panoramic vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco cityscape and the lush Pacific shoreline peppered with vibrant wildflowers. The course is a combination of singletrack hiking trails, fire roads, pavement and a beach crossing.

The Marathon course climbs and descends 4,400 feet; the Marathon is two loops of the Half Marathon course.
The Half Marathon climbs and descends 2,200 feet.
The 7 Mile course climbs and descends fewer than 1,000 feet.

DIRECTIONS
Take the first exit North of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Marin Headlands area of Golden Gate National Recreation Area is west of the Golden Gate Bridge. Follow the signs to Rodeo Beach and Fort Cronkite. We will meet in the picnic area across from the beach by the parking lot. Please park in the dirt parking lot.
