The highest paved marathon in the world - and one of the most scenic. Our USAT&F certified course takes you on a spirit-soaring tour of the majestic Estes Valley, gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. We are walker friendly with an 8-hour time limit! Two-thirds of the course is flat or on a gentle sloping decline. One-third is a gradual uphill spread throughout the course. (There are two relatively short inclines and declines that are not gradual.) Our courses are challenging and beautiful. Destined to become the world's premier high-altitude marathon for athletes of all abilities. You may run in the dirt on the shoulder at your own risk. Please visit our website for more information.

All races will begin and end at the Estes Park Schools (one location). From the Denver/Boulder area take Hwy 36 into the Estes Valley and turn left on Community Dr. From the Ft Collins/Loveland area take Hwy 34 into the Estes Valley and turn left on Hwy 36, to Community Dr and turn right.
